The manufacturer of food seasoning once known as "Vegeta 40", located in Croatia, EU (a former Yugoslavian country)The product "Vegeta 40" was later rebranded to "Podravka".  Thus, the same word "Podravka" is used interchangeably to mean either the condiment itself or its Croatian manufacturer.  The term "Vegeta" became a trademark of the Czech company Vitana, which produces a virtually indistinguishable powdered tastifier marketed under the identical name "VEGETA".
